Time Saving Tips while in Voicemail

Update CDMA Roaming

 

Voicemail Setup CDMA
  1. Dial your mobile number from any landline touchtone phone.
  2. Press # key when recording begins.
  3. When prompted enter your temporary password (cell phone number)
  4. Follow the prompts to change your password and record a greeting.

 

Getting Your Messages
  1. Dial *86 to retrieve your voicemail messages.
  2. When you hear your recorded messages press the # key.
  3. Enter your password

Update CDMA Roaming

Preferred Raoming List (PRL) Update
*Please be aware that certain device models may lack the capacity required to
accomodate a larger PRL File.

Verizon Wireless / InTouch America recommends that you update the PRL of your
phone at least once every three months to keep their roaming capabilities up to date.
The PRL update can only be administered via OTA programming when you are
within the Verizon Wireless digital network footprint, by following the instructions below:

  1. Power on the phone anywhere on the Verizon Wireless digital network and dial
    *22891 (Update the PRL) and press SEND.
  2. You will hear the following message: "Welcome to Over the Air Programming,
    please hold while we update your roaming capabilities. This call is airtime free."
  3. Hold music will be heard immediately, along with the following message: "Please
    continue to hold while your phone is being programmed."
  4. Once the PRL Update programming is complete, you will hear two audible beep
    tones and the "Programming Successful" message should appear on the handset's
    display.
  5. Press END to disconnect.

* BY DOING THIS MONTHLY, YOU WILL IMPROVE YOUR RECEPTION,
LESS BILLING ERRORS, AND BETTER ROAMING CAPABILITIES AS YOU
HAVE UPDATED THE PRL (PREFERRED ROAMING LIST) SOFTWARE
ON YOUR CELLULAR  PHONE.
