Today we are going to talk about Bluetooth and how to pair them to your favorite devices.

Bluetooth has been around for years and is a wireless technology standard for exchanging data over short distances from fixed and mobile devices, creating personal networks with high levels of security. Over time this has gone from being just wireless headsets to now being anything from your wireless speakers to a connected light switch that goes on and off at the touch of the device on the other end. The most popular devices are going to be the Bluetooth headsets and Bluetooth headphones. These items are super easy to connect, usually by just holding down the button and making sure your Bluetooth is powered on at the same time that you are pushing the button down. Some people get frustrated with Bluetooth because it becomes a little hard to connect the first time but you will get used to it and LOVE the Bluetooth devices you’re connecting. I have a cell phone speaker using Bluetooth in my car and I love it. It takes the hassle of having to worry about answering a call when I’m driving and trying to put the phone on speaker. Recently I’ve been seeing a lot more things that use Bluetooth. Last time I went to the mail I saw an egg tray that connects to your Bluetooth phone and will tell you when you’re out of eggs; no I’m not joking with you.

Another thing I love about Bluetooth is the level of security it gives you. The pin to the device can be changed very easily and will not connect to any device without the pin you choose at the devices time of activation. Most Bluetooth pins are defaulted to ‘0000’. This is a common question that I get from a lot of customers who don’t read the instructions (teehee). Recently a lot of cars started becoming Bluetooth enabled and can connect to your phone. It’s amazing! You can make a call or listen to your music straight from your device to your cars navigation system with no cords or extra hassle.

If anyone has any specific questions about Bluetooth please sound off below. I know a lot of people don’t even try with Bluetooth devices because it can be a little intimidating, but trust me it is very easy and can be done within minutes!
